  1. PURPOSE OF PROCESSING PERSONAL DATA

Personal data is collected, processed and used with the customer's consent for managing customer relationships, communicating and marketing at Pellopuu Oy. In addition, the data can be used for statistical and service development purposes. The collection and use of data comply with Chapter 4, Section 19 of the Personal Data Act.

  1. CONTENTS OF THE DATA FILE

Personal data is collected and processed by Pellopuu Oy from customers that join the register of customers. The information to be registered includes:

  • Name and contact information
  • Information related to managing the customer relationship
  • Interests submitted by the customer
  • Notifications of marketing consent/ban submitted by the customer
  • Visits to the website and other visitor tracking information
  1. REGULAR DATA SOURCES

Sources of data include:

  • The data subject via an electronic joining form, a text message or a completed paper form.
  • The Digital and Population Data Services Agency, Suomen Asiakastieto Oy, or any other reliable entity.
  1. REGULAR DESTINATIONS OF DISCLOSED DATA AND TRANSFER OF DATA OUTSIDE THE EU OR THE EUROPEAN ECONOMIC AREA

Personal data may be disclosed to companies belonging to the same group or economic associations, or Pellopuu Oy retailers in connection with the sale or delivery of products, or transferred to outside the EU or EEA in accordance with the Personal Data Act and the provisions on the processing of credit data.

  1. PRINCIPLES OF SECURING THE DATA FILE

The data file is maintained as a technical record. The information system is fully protected, and the data file is used only by persons whose job description includes using the file.

  1. RIGHT OF ACCESS

In accordance with Section 26 of the Personal Data Act, the data subject has the right of access to the data on him/her on the personal data file. The request for access to the data must be made in writing with a personally signed document sent to the person responsible for the data file (see contact details in item 2).

  1. CANCELLATION OF MARKETING AUTHORISATION

The data subject has the right to withdraw the marketing authorisation they have granted by notifying the controller.
